- Importing your clip: Begin by importing your video or image into Filmora X. Drag the desired clip from your media library and drop it onto the timeline.
- Activating the clip: Click on the clip in the timeline to activate it. This will make the editing options available.
- Accessing the transformations: In the top-left panel, open the Video tab. Within this tab, you will find the Transform section. This is where you can make all of your adjustments.
- Applying adjustments:
- Rotate: Use the Rotate slider to turn your clip clockwise or counterclockwise. For exact rotations, you can input a specific angle.
- Flip: Select the Horizontal or Vertical flip options to create a mirror image of your video or photo.
- Scale: Adjust the Scale slider to resize your clip, making it larger or smaller while keeping its original proportions.
- Position: Change the clip’s position within the frame by modifying the Position X and Position Y values.
- Finalizing changes: All of your adjustments will be visible in the preview pane as you make them. Once you are satisfied with the transformations, click OK to save the changes.
