Importing Media in Filmora X
To get started, open Filmora X and either create a new project or open an existing one. Once you’re in the editor, you’ll see the Media Library in the top-left corner. This is where you’ll manage all the files for your project.
Importing Your Files
There are a few ways to import your media:
- Import button: Click the Import button in the Media Library to see your options.
- Choose Import Media Files to add individual videos, images, or audio clips.
- Choose Import a Folder to bring in all the files from a specific folder at once.
- Drag and Drop: A quicker way is to simply drag files directly from your computer and drop them into the Media Library panel.
After importing, your files will appear as thumbnails. You can rename, delete, or rearrange them in the library to keep your project organized.
Adding Media to Your Project
Once your media is in the library, all you have to do is drag and drop the files you want from the Media Library down to the timeline at the bottom of the screen. Now you’re ready to start editing!
